Insomnia

Insomnia is a sleep problem, often referred to as "insomnia sleep disorder". In its simplest form insomnia can be defined as difficulty in falling asleep, staying asleep or waking after too short a period of sleep.

Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a common, though often undiagnosed, sleep problem in which you stop breathing during the night, sometimes literally hundreds of times and for as much as a minute or more. The disorder derives its name from the Greek word "apnea" meaning "without breath".

Narcolepsy is a chronic, life-long, neurological sleep problem that usually appears in your late teens or early twenties and is characterized initially by excessive daytime tiredness. In addition many sufferers experience other symptoms including cataplexy, hallucinations and sleep paralysis.

Restless leg syndrome (RLS) is a relatively common sleep problem characterized by uncomfortable feelings often described as itching, tingling, crawling or gnawing in the legs.

Jet lag (also known as desynchronosis) is a common sleep problem that effects millions of long-haul travelers every day, whether traveling for pleasure or on business. In a recent survey of international business travelers, 74% of those questioned said that they suffered frequently from jet lag.
